ICDF HISTORY
Mary Jones founded the Christian Dance Fellowship of Australia (CDFA) in 1978. Over the next few years, it flourished and provided support, fellowship and encouragement to many Christian dancers, not only in Australia, but around the world. In 1987, Mary had a vision to establish an international organization.
Ten nations took part in the ICDF formation meeting held in 1988 and elected Mary Jones as the first International Coordinator of the new fellowship. The purpose of the new organisation was to network among its international members and help establish new Christian Dance Fellowships around the world.
Since then, the ICDF has grown to have a presence in over thirty countries. There are special interest networks and every three years we hold an international conference held in different parts of the world.
