BRAZIL

Brazilians, John and Carol Bassi, are married and the parents of three children. They have been passionate about martial arts, dance and body expression since 1985. Their testimony is the worship of the Lord Jesus through the art of dance and body expression.

John has written about the history of Christian Dance in Brazil and the world in this generation. Together with Praise Cia. de Dança and ZOE Dance, they minister, mentor, create projects and train dance ministers of different denominations, ages and technical levels.

They are international speakers and life coaches for dance leaders, worship, theatre and arts in the church. Recognized for excellence in their projects, Christian Dance work has been working in Brazil and other nations for 25 years, becoming pioneers and references for other Christian and secular dance groups. For 25 years, they have been the national leaders of the Renascer Dance Ministry, which today has more than 2,000 dancers in all churches.

They are directors of Praise Cia. De Dança, with 55 dance professionals who dance in various choreographic styles, besides leading the Dance Ministry of the Renascer Hall International Headquarters Church in São Paulo.

John and Carol are the owners and directors of "Escola Praise de Dança EXPERIENCE Online a Dance School run on Christian principles with hundreds of students from Brazil and other nations.

They are the creators and founders of the exclusive and pioneering Christian Dance Class ZOE Dance, which is expanding every day in Brazil and other countries. Today, it has more than 1,000 trained teachers.

The couple has already ministered in more than 500 workshops, congresses and conferences on dance, worship and praise throughout Brazil and abroad (Japan, Puerto Rico, London – England, Italy, Costa Rica, Paris France and Israel).

JOHN BASSI TRAINING
• Graduated in Physical Education and a postgraduate in Sports Training, specializing in Gymnastics for pregnant women, as well as teaching street dance, Bahian swing and body expression since 1997.
• Director, actor, action stuntman and professional dancer.
• Black belt and professional Karate and Taekwondo athlete with more than 150 titles, including the World Championship in 1997.

CAROL BASSI TRAINING
• Graduated in “Dance and Movement” at Faculdade Anhembi Morumbi with a specialization in Contemporary and Modern with an emphasis on Somatic Education.
• Graduated in “Administration” at Faculdade Anchieta.
• Director, professional dancer, actress and action stunt.
• Classical training at the Royal Academy and Russian Ballet, trained and specialized in Jazz and Contemporary Dance.
• Black belt and professional Taekwondo athlete with more than 100 international titles.

INCLUSION AND SOCIAL WORK
Through the company, they always seek to include the participation of special dancers in their projects (wheelchair users, Down Syndrome and hearing impaired) and carry out social work with dances in different locations and dance classes at the Núcleo Assistencial Heliópolis – SP Currently, there are 70 institutions in Brazil serving free weekly classes.

ANNUAL PARTICIPATION IN EVENTS
Several editions of S.O.S da Vida, Marcha para Jesus de São Paulo (the largest Christian event in the world where the Company makes the official opening every year on the event stage and dances with several nationally renowned bands on the main stage) and participation in the Marcha para Jesus in other cities, opening and shows at Canto pela Paz, among others, since 2001, in addition to several social shows throughout Brazil on street stages and theatres.

Participation in events and choreographic productions with important national Gospel bands, and appearances on TV and radio.
