Our Mission and Values

ICDFSA is more than a dance network; it’s a community rooted in faith, unity, and service.

Our guiding values drive our mission:
Visible: Sharing the Gospel through dance across communities and beyond.
Available: Remaining skilled and ready to serve whenever called.
Relevant: Adapting to changing times while upholding Godly principles.

What does CDFSA offer?
Through these values, we aim to uplift communities, spreading God’s love through dance
and social initiatives.

Looking Ahead

Expanding Our Footprint
Since September 2025, ICDFSA has made significant strides in establishing regional leaders across provinces. Previously active in only two provinces, we have now expanded into the Eastern Cape, Northwest, and further segments of Gauteng.

Our Youth Ministry is currently running in the Western Cape and is set to expand nationwide. This initiative focuses on empowering young dancers to express themselves through movement while fostering their spiritual growth.

Marketing –
Our guiding values: Visible, Available & Relevant are key ingredients to our expansion in
churches, dance groups and our communities.
We have started with a rigorous effort towards this expansion by tapping into available media channels such as Radio Stations and TV channels. Across our provinces, we are driving this and securing interviews on these various channels.
The goal is for ICDFSA to become a household name on the lips of dancers across the different skill levels for both amateur and professional dancers.

Community driven initiatives
– ICDFSA is expanding our commitment to be involved in CSI initiatives on a bi-annual basis.
Each province/area will adopt a community project in their respective regions, by means of collaboration with a church or organization.
This may comprise any of the following:
● adopt an orphanage
● start/support a soup kitchen
● community clean-up project
● participate in outreach events in collaboration with local churches and organizations
● participate in volunteer programmes within schools locally
● volunteer at a library-create a platform for storytelling and expressive signing

Dance Training & workshops

● Facilitate Dance Training monthly in regions
● Promote and conduct dance workshops on a quarterly basis across regions.
Workshops will be tailored to provincial needs, covering both theory and practical aspects of dance. These workshops will foster growth, creativity, and excellence within our dance community.
● Network with Dance studios and Dance organizations (in and outside of the church)
● Participate and form part of local Dance festivals/Productions
